Live demo · calibrated estimating

A piping takeoff, priced in real time

Adjust the weld counts and watch the estimate recompute — the real book-factor labour and cost math, running in your browser. Toggle a shop calibration to see how your own history would shift it.

What this demo is — and isn't

  • Runs the real book-factor labour + cost math in your browser (fit-up + weld + cut, factored by size, material, wall, weld-type, and shop-vs-field) — not a recorded animation.
  • These are BOOK rates. Fabify’s differentiator is the calibrated model: a factor table built from your own closed-job actuals ($ per effort-inch, every dollar traceable to a source row — table lookup, not ML). The "Calibrate" toggle here applies an illustrative per-size multiplier; real calibration needs your shop’s history.
  • On real welds, the calibrated model predicted a new client’s fabrication cost within ~10% using another client’s calibrated factors (7,671 welds, $1.94M) — and it warns when a source’s factors are internally inconsistent instead of over-claiming.
  • Material unit prices shown are illustrative; production pulls client rate cards or live pricing. Welds are a pre-counted register — the full engine resolves weld counts from drawing topology.
